"The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:3-5

About Me

Oregon, United States
I am a happy, Christian, wife and post-homeschooling mother. I have spent the last several years homeschooling and now I am "adjusting" to a new season of life as "empty nester". In 2010 we moved to be Host/Caretakers at a Bible Camp. We look at our ministry here as preparing the way for the gospel to be shared as well as encouraging believers in their daily walk. I am a farmgirl at heart and love the country, I love gardening and food preserving. I also, love tea parties!! I also have a Titus 2 heart and want to share with anyone willing to listen and learn. I love having friends over and teaching them how to make bread or put up pickles. And as we work, I love to encourage them to love their husbands and their children and to be Keepers at Home and all that implies and I love that you let me do that here!! Hope you enjoy visiting my farm and walking through a journey in life with me.......I hope at some point in time I can encourage you in your walk and in your home..........

Another Year Older..........

The end of last month was my birthday. I had our Sewing Circle over to my house for our meeting that month and served them a Birthday Lunch!! The month before we had gone to another gals house for her birthday and had cheesecake.
I made pumpkin stew that you serve in the pumpkin, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin cheesecake, that glorius salad you saw back a ways with the butternut squash and spinach.....yep, I love pumpkin, and it was my day!!
One gift was this table runner, which I love drapped over my trunk that sits in front of my couch. This lady is affectionatley known as the "quilting machine", we are amazed at the quilts she can put out. She has something new to share with us every month.
This fun little tea ball was on the package of this next gift. I love it because it reminds me of tin punch.....so it hangs on a knob so
I can see it all the time. :)

This was inside........it matches my couch perfectly and has found a home perched on

the back of my couch!!

About the same time, my husband finished a cupboard for me that he had started years ago and had set aside. One day he brought home extra glass shelves from work. Another time he brought home plywood that had quarter sawn oak on one side.....seemed like a match to me! All he had to buy was the front face frame wood.......
Now I can get my tea cups out of boxes and onto shelves.....it will get a door some day with glass, but we must wait as
glass is not a priority at this moment....
Lovely tea cups all in a row......

When I began doing tea parties.....about 7 years ago....a friend had a "tea cup shower" for my birthday!! How fun is that!!!!
